A small-town Iowa girl who always yearned for the city life – and life without winters. A dog mom, plant mom, wife, attorney, red wine connoisseur, former coffee addict turned decaf gal, mid-afternoon chocolate pick-me-up, and that girl who’s in pajamas by 5:30pm. I grew up obsessed with sports, a true jock, but I also always loved photos (a recovered picnic stan).
In adulthood, I realized that I could fit into as many boxes as I wanted. So I dove into photography and launched my business in 2018 (formerly torhawleycreative). After testing out a variety of muses, I realized my absolute favorite way to create art is by documenting love in all forms. Wedding days encompass it all – I mean, seriously, I love nothing more than yelling at couples to bump and grind on the dance floor, saying "now smooch!", and making people feel calm and at ease on their best day.

My parents' 30+ year marriage, mis abuelos' 60+ year marriage, and my obsession over photos of my departed grandparents' kissing nurtured a love for love within me. This "job" allows me to admire love over and over again in so many different forms. I see an engaged couple's deep friendship, another's soft-spoken gentleness, and the list goes on.
Documenting your love stories with timeless wedding photography gives me the same feels that young-me got while flipping through family albums. Every shoot and every couple is different – I'm just honored to get to experience your personalities and to learn from you on your journeys.
No matter the lighting or background, your photos will be keepsakes for years to come... and they will represent you exactly as you are.

As you'll see on the contact form... we love binge-watching TV over here. I can almost guarantee you that I've seen the show you recommend (try me!!!).
My husband (Freddie) and I love trying foods from all cultures, and pairing it with wine. Don't give me too much credit, though – I don't really understand wine pairings... We just like food and wine, okay?! We love cozying up on the couch with a large plate of brown stew chicken and watching our latest binge (currently Snowfall).
Travel also fuels my soul. My Boricua abuela and her Nebraskan scholar have encouraged me to travel for as long as I can remember.
No matter who and where we are, we all have a different story to share. No two tales are one and the same. And that’s why I LOVE documenting love stories (and hopefully yours too!).

From your initial contact form through your in-person photos, I’ll spend so much time getting to know you. We'll chat about what is most important or most exciting to you on your wedding day so that my attention is zoomed in on your desires.
When I arrive on your wedding day, you get to take a deep breath. Though the day will be busy, we will build in times for you and your love to spend together, soaking it in. I’ll ensure that everything runs according to plan behind the scenes so that you get the most memories out of your day. With me, the day flows smoothly, because I have loads of experience from other weddings!
On your wedding day, I’ll turn up after morning caffeine, buzzing with energy to capture one of the most important, memorable days in your lives. I won’t miss a moment!
From the getting-ready prep through to the ceremony, reception, and exit, I'll be there photographing moments and details that you might’ve missed (e.g. Auntie Gina getting drunk on the dance floor)!
