Planning

When it comes to planning the perfect Arizona family photography session, I find that it’s best to work together from the beginning. From our initial conversations, I’ll get a feel for how much support you’re looking for and I’ll step in to help in every way possible. From sending pictures of outfit inspiration (or collaborating on a Pinterest board), to discussing locations that fit the vision for the shoot or your gallery wall at home. Beyond planning the aesthetics, we also will chat through your overall vision for the shoot so that come shoot day you get to relax and trust.

Think of me as your resource guide, here to help your family photo dreams come to life.

During the Session

When you arrive to your session, I’ll be there to greet you with gentleness and warmness while I channel my elementary teacher background to make your kiddos feel welcomed, safe, and confident to let their personalities shine. This is when you get to start taking a hands off approach and let me lead. It’s hard, I know. But because we’ve already talked through your vision, your nerves, your desires, etc., it really is my job to let you enjoy. You get to laugh at your silly kids, snuggle your velcro babies, and maybe even have a small moment alone with your partner.

My one request?? Please don’t tell your kiddos to “look at the camera and smile.” Trust that I will capture their essence and you’ll have memories to cherish forever.

Your job is to be and to soak up the season your family is in. My job is to bring out your unique personalities in your photos and make those Arizona family photography dreams come to life.

After

Within 4 weeks you’ll have your online gallery delivered to your email. It’s that easy! At that time, I’ll remind you that my print shop is the only shop for which I can guarantee colors and cohesiveness throughout your prints. There can be vast differences between quality and color when you order from other sites (like Walgreens, Amazon, etc.). I’ve tried them all (seriously) and my print shop that syncs with your gallery is the best quality that you’ll find– especially if your family embodies a variety of skin tones.
